As it is commonly known, every car before it gets introduced to the public, it needs to pass from various types of tests. Those include driving under extreme weather conditions, from the lowest temperatures to the highest ones.
For this reason, Aston Martin's engineers travelled to the Phoenix of Arizona, in order to assess the new Aston Martin DB11, covering for one month, the distance of 25.000 km!
In the meantime, hundreds of sensors were collecting all the information needed about the car’s behaviour and results, broadcasting those to a central computer. Their aim was to ensure that the car’s engine and electronic systems would work perfectly at extreme temperatures such as 50 Celcius degrees.
