The latest version of Mustang debuts with a new front mask, new gearbox and a new cabin technology.

Although the changes are quite small, we can’t say that they passed unnoticed. The 2018 model has its mask (front end) redesigned featuring a new angular front bumper with a new chin spoiler and a slimmer lower air intake, flanked by two new triangular air intakes. The bonnet sits a little lower, creating a sleeker front fascia.

Apart from the mask, the headlights have changed too. Although the new units are a similar shape, they are slimmer and have new distinctive indicators.  Added to that, new thin, rectangular fog lamp clusters sit in the new front bumper.

Regarding the engine, Ford continues to offer the Mustang GT with two power units in the UK (the 5.0-litre V8 in the GT & the 2.3-litre four-cylinder Ecoboost in the entry level model).

Gearbox, has too changed. The six-speed manual was altered for optimal torque on any of the two models. However, the V8 gets a new dual-plate clutch.

Prices of the new model are expected in early 2018.
